Accessibility of seats

Hello I am contacting you for help on our return flight back to L H R from Cape Town on March 22 2024 on flight BA42. Our flight reference UHN4H3.

On our flight out we sat in the centre set of seats isle one and next one these were booked at the time we booked our flight. 2 or 3 days before departure I noticed seats 20A & 20B were vacant I phoned customer services to be told those seats are for travelers with infants so I said fair enough at 80yrs of age I do not qualify. To my amazement on board the flight I see 2 teenagers sat there with parent sat on the centre row of seats.

What I am asking is it possible to let my wife sit in the seat to give more accessibility because we really struggled to get out especially when the passengers in front of us tilted their seats.

They had no seat for me on the flight I was booked, then treat you like *** and are then totally reluctant to solve the claim and take responabillity. It's now 140 days gone past, and no information and no one to talk to. When calling, they hang up the phone upon hearing the word "claim"

Flight got delayed, and connecting flight was cancelled for no reason (could have made it) Ridiculous waiting time to get a hotel (next flight was next day) and a 10 pound voucher does not make up for anything. No refunds were given for booked seats on flights we did not make and upon my question when to expect the refunds I was answered there was no proof of booked seats. After providing emails with screenshots of payments made for booked seats I was ignored. NO ANSWER AT ALL and NO REFUNDS WERE ISSUED

Poor Customer Service From Saurabh Singh

Saurab refused to look into the whereabouts of our baggage despite us pleading with him and explaining that we could see exactly where the bags were thanks to airtags. See, the bags were marked as "lost" but they were sitting right in the airport of our hometown where we could have easily picked them up. Fortunately we did..eventually, but not thanks to him. Another agent heard us out and did the right thing. Shame on you Saurabh!!

I travelled from Delhi to Houston on 16 October vide pnr no. KV8KDW via London. On reaching Houston I found one suit case was completely damaged. I made a complaint at the British Airways counter at the Houston airport for compensation vide complaint no. IAHBA 17749 but till date I have not rcd any reply. I even tried BA tel no. at the Airport several times but no response. I request you to kindly look into this complaint immediately for compensation. Thanking you Madan gopal taneja

Lousy service. BA locks a member from being able to log into the web site because of honest but bad reviews

I have thousands of Avios in my account, but this airline has cut off my access to my BA Executive Account because I slammed them on a review. I am now not allowed to even access my account and keep getting some lame error message.

Their customer service folks keep telling me that it is Chrome causing the problem. So I have tried MS Edge, Firefox, my cell phone but get the same error message, that I do not have sufficient permissions to access the account. BA is a sore looser.

When Alex Cruz ran this airline it worked great. The new bean counter promoted to CEO sucks and runs the airline like an *** school headmaster.

Having paid for specific seats for my outbound flight, BA cancelled them without giving a reason and did not refund me the extra I had paid. When I queried this, they then did the same thing for my inbound flight. No customer support, no Public Relations. This is a criminal airline.

Never mind the flight home being cancelled with under 24 hours notice, the customer service has got to be the worst of any company in existence. Trying to get a refund and constantly told your in the queue of 150, 000 other complaints, wait is just not acceptable. BA you bring shame to the word British. You treat your customers with complete disrespect and will go out of business as no one will book with you.

I have got the same problem, flight cancelled from amsterdam to londen without any notification up front. Now not possible to file a claim because the flight i booked does not seem to excist anymore Anoying

Long-term bad service

App down. Website down right now, not for the first time. I fly every month, and for six months or more I have problems with BA, problems that I never manage to resolve because of: difficult customer service routes clearly designed to obfuscate; agents always too busy (dealing with disgruntled customers); appalling IT; a not before 24-hours check-in requirement that causes stress in travellers. BA is shockingly poor at all this. The flights are OK but their admin is crap.

I have NEVER in 50 years of being in the aviation business been so utterly by this the total lack of professionalism and regards for the customer . Rude and aggressive arrogant staff who are obviously working to a script bearly managing to speak English , patronise and miss inform the very life blood of the airline ITS CUSTOMER!! After over 3 hrs on the phone, on hold , passed between equally unhelpful staff I suffered the final ignominy of being cut off. Truest 3rd world standard in fact I have had better service from 3rd world airlines shockingly poor.

Lost Baggage never comes and Impossible to contact

I flew first class, on British airlines, from Dallas to Heathrow. When arriving at Heathrow, my bag and TWENTY OTHER BAGS did not arrive, and every single one of us had to report our bags lost.

My final destination was not Heathrow, I was switching airports and going on another British airlines flight to Malta. I filed a claim with British airlines at Heathrow for them to deliver my bag to Malta. It has been SIX DAYS since filing that report, and my bag has not arrived. I have been on and off and on with the phone with useless customer service representatives at British airlines, who know nothing.

British airlines has reported my bag has found and has told me that has taken two flights- one from Heathrow to Rome and one from Rome to Malta. A day after my bag had supposedly arrived in Malta, I still had not received it at my hotel, so I went to the airport for myself too find it. Representatives at the baggage claim desk told me my bag had never arrived from Rome. Now Im wondering if my bag hasnt even been found in the first place.

Theres no way to contact someone who is actually in the airport at Heathrow. Theres no way to contact anyone at British airlines who actually knows anything. How is it that someone can pay thousands of dollars for a first class ticket and still have their bag lost and no further information on it.

On top of all this, it is almost impossible to get any compensation for your bag or any essential items you have to buy while you wait for your bag. DO NOT FLY!!
